Week 14

Well this is week 14. Only 24 weeks left. I have been having lots of new sensations. I feel like I have constant indigestion. My stomach is achy and I can feel it stretching. Headaches are a constant problem. Financial issues are scaring the crap out of me. I have no idea how we are going to afford everything. I guess this is my depressed phase. Hopefully I will get some baby bump pictures up soon.

  1. Trust me, it may seem scary now but you will feel a lot less stressed as the day comes when you child will be in your arms you will see that it was well worth it and nothing to stress about

  2. You can always figure money out. There are plenty of places out there that will help. Check the area and look into consignment shops or second hand shops for clothing. I did a lot of shopping at those places for Therese and the clothes were like brand new for extremely cheap. And not sure how often people do garage sales down there, but scope those out too. The only things I would spend the extra money on is a car seat so you know it's 100% safe and a decent stroller. My friends that have had kids all agree that the ones with the bigger wheels on them, 3 or 4 wheels are the easiest to maneuver and will go anywhere. You can do it. I know you can.

  3. I completely agree with Heidi, when I found out that I was pregnant I was terrified that we wouldn't be able to afford to have her. Now 8 months in we are doing just fine, you will find that people are extremely generous when it comes to babies! Once you get the basics it is a lot easier to keep up with everything else. I would highly recommend breast feeding as long as you can, it saves a ton of money and is an excellent bonding experience. I was only able to do it for a few months but it does amazing things for their immune system. The most ill Emma has been is a slight cold from teething, we have been lucky!

As for your tummy, sounds like your little one is going to have hair! It's an old wives tale that I thought was silly but I had the same thing and Emma came out with a full head of hair! TUMS were my best friend, I would give them a try! They worked wonders for me and they will not hurt the baby. :)

I'm not sure if you have received my message on FB yet, but I am moving down your way this summer with my little family and I have tons of clothes for you if your little bundle of joy ends up being a girl. Just let me know if you have any questions, I just went through everything your going through and would love to help.
